Dearest Heart Center Community,

As we welcome August, I continue to be amazed by the beautiful community that continues to grow within these walls. Every class, every workshop, every shared conversation reminds me that The Heart Center is so much more than a place we gather — it is a community of people choosing, again and again, to show up for themselves and for one another. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Veterans PTSD yin workshop has been postponed for the time being. We know many of you were looking forward to this important offering, and we can't wait to announce its new date as soon as it is scheduled.

Looking ahead, we have so much to be excited about!

The most anticipated celebration of summer ... our Lion's Gate Celebration on August 8th! If you've attended one of our community celebrations before, you already know the energy that fills this space when we gather with intention, music, movement, and open hearts. This year's celebration is shaping up to be something truly extraordinary, and I honestly cannot wait to share this experience with all of you. It is going to be an unforgettable afternoon of connection, joy, and celebration.

Our Reiki training is coming up quick! We are holding Level 1 over the weekend of September 5 & 6, and Level 2 over the weekend of October 3 & 4. If you've been curious about Reiki or waiting for just the right opportunity, this may be the offering for you. 

I am beyond thrilled to announce The Heart Center's inaugural Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. This has been a dream in the making, and it is hard to express just how excited I am to finally see it becoming a reality. Kundalini Yoga is a profound and transformative practice that has the power to awaken, heal, and reconnect us to our deepest selves. Authentic opportunities to study and teach this tradition are becoming increasingly rare, making this training something truly special. Whether your intention is to become a teacher or simply to deepen your own personal practice and spiritual journey, this training offers an experience unlike any other.

To celebrate this first-ever training, we are offering Early Bird pricing through November 30 for those who register early. If Kundalini has ever called to you — even quietly — I encourage you to listen. Lion's Gate

The Lion's Gate Portal Celebration — a truly special event where we will throw down a canvas and paint with natural mediums, guided by our bodies, our hearts, and the vibrations of our souls. This will be a journey of expression, liberation, and communal magic!

DETAILS

This is held at The Heart Center during the 8/8 Nexus portal, embracing Lion energy in Leo season, and themed for stepping into your full, embodied expression — welcoming in courage, safety, and non-judgment, and stepping into our power, which is represented by the Lion’s Mane.

SCHEDULE

10:30-11:30am: Flow and Restore Yoga

11:30-12pm: Break, social time while preparing canvas

12-12:15pm: Welcoming, intention setting, easing into experience

12:15-1pm: Cacao ceremony

1-3pm: Sound and movement, engaging with the canvas

3-4pm: Cutting of the canvas and personal resonance tagging ceremony

PRICE

$150 per person, and includes yoga, sacred cacao ceremony, guided meditation, and art embodiment experience. We will supply non-latex gloves. 

Participants should have or bring smocks/clothes they don’t mind getting paint on because they WILL be engaging with the canvas!

About Kaila: I'm Kaila Hall, the founder of Freqs of Love, a holistic wellness practice in Seattle, WA. I am a certified Reiki Master, sound practitioner, intuitive healer, creative spirit, and former corporate dweller turned energy worker and space holder. For years, I lived in the rhythm of overextending, poor boundaries, and burnout: long hours, high pressure, and little space to feel. I thought I was doing everything right on the outside, but I felt completely disconnected from my inner world. I found Reiki and Sound Healing at the right time. I remembered something through this work that I had entirely forgotten: my healing doesn’t come from fixing, chasing, or avoiding: it comes through inner connection and deepening my compassion. I've found my spark again in softening, being present, and letting myself be seen.

Today, I hold space for others on their own return. For the givers who forget to receive, for the caregivers, the busy minds, and the curious. I believe deeply in the body’s innate intelligence and the truth that to see the light, there must be darkness. And in both, we are whole: As above, so below.
