Dear Heart Center Family,

As the season begins to shift, and we settle into the beauty of fall, there's so much happening at The Heart Center that we're excited to share with you.

Our new fall schedule is here, bringing some changes, some new offerings, and a few new faces. We're especially happy to be offering three free community classes, creating even more chances to gather. We're also adding a Restorative Yoga class on Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. — a lovely way to close the weekend and get ready for the week ahead. And for those of you who have been joining us on Friday afternoons, the 2:30 p.m. class moves to noon, making space for a little lunchtime connection.

We're also delighted to welcome new facilitators, including Liz Woltz, who'll be teaching yoga and Mat Pilates for our community. She also just so happens to be yours truly's yoga and Pilates teacher training instructor. Yep, she's already been helping this studio from afar, and now she will be bringing her talents to help us out directly. We're grateful for the gifts each new teacher brings and look forward to watching those offerings become woven into our community rhythm.

And as always, thank you for showing up for yourselves, for each other, and for this community. The Heart Center is not just a place — it's the people who fill it with movement, laughter, vulnerability, healing, growth, and love.

We look forward to sharing this new season with all of you.

Hari Om,

Theo

STUDIO NEWS & UPDATES

We are delighted to welcome Liz Woltz to our talented teaching team! Liz loves teaching movement of all kinds and has a natural ability to break down complex movements into bite-sized pieces, making classes approachable and enjoyable for everyone.

A lifelong dancer, Liz discovered yoga in 2011, and immediately fell in love. Inspired by the idea that yoga aligns the geometry of the human body with the geometry of the universe, Liz continues to explore the connection between movement, breath, body, and mind — and loves sharing that exploration with her students.

As a trauma-informed yoga teacher, Liz is passionate about bringing the healing benefits — and the joy — of movement to all bodies, abilities, levels, and people. She believes movement should be accessible, empowering, and, most importantly, fun! Liz brings humor, warmth, and a playful spirit to her classes while creating space for each person to move in a way that feels right for their body.

Join Liz on Tuesdays for Vinyasa Yoga at 4pm & on

Thursdays for Mat Pilates Fusion at 4pm and Vinyasa Yoga at 5:30 pm.

Crystal Rainbow Mort has joined our fabulous wellness team! She has been practicing the Triple Vagal Method (TVM) for four years and has successfully helped hundreds of clients live more happy, present lives, free of stuck trauma.

TVM is a powerful nervous system regulating modality which utilizes oxytocin, co-regulation, vagal switching, and fascia to stabilize the felt recognition of safety in the body. From this point the body heals itself, prioritizing what’s needed most.

TVM is for you if you experience:

  • Diminished quality of life due to stress
  • Auto-immune problems
  • Immune problems
  • Lyme
  • PTSD/CPTSD
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Fibromyalgia
  • EDS/hEDS

Our fall schedule is underway! Minor adjustments include:

  • Refining & reducing the variety of class titles for simplicity and clarity
  • Adding Restorative Yoga, Sundays at 5:30 pm
  • Moving Power Yoga on Fridays, from 2:30 pm to noon
  • Changing our free Saturday Community Yoga at noon to Yin Yoga (still free!)

We are still filling in the schedule — the seasonal shift has also shifted the availability for some of our instructors. So, keep your eye on the schedule to watch these updates as they occur! Aside from the changes above, our fall schedule will be similar to our summer schedule, once assignments are complete.
