Beloved community,
As we enter the month of June, there is a palpable shift in the energy around us. The arrival of summer brings with it longer days, more light, and a gentle invitation to expand. Nature reminds us that growth does not happen all at once — it unfolds in its own rhythm, with patience, trust, and presence. This season feels like a beautiful threshold: a time of honoring what has brought us here while opening ourselves to what is waiting to emerge.
As one chapter comes to a close, another begins. On May 31, our yoga teacher training journey completed, and I find myself filled with immense gratitude and pride for these students and for my fellow steward of The Heart Center, Asha, as we celebrate this milestone together. It has been an honor to witness the dedication, growth, and transformation that has unfolded throughout this experience. I look forward to watching these incredible souls lend their spirits and unique beauty to our community as facilitators. There is something deeply meaningful about seeing individuals step more fully into themselves and into the gifts they are meant to share.
This month also brings the beginning of our summer class schedule and with it a number of shifts and exciting additions within our space. Please keep an eye out for these upcoming changes. Beginning June 9, Michaela and I will also be offering two new fitness-inspired classes with a spiritual flare — opportunities to move, strengthen, connect, and experience embodiment in a different way while staying rooted in the heart of our practice.
I am also feeling tremendous excitement for what is ahead this season. I am looking forward to our summer solstice sound bath with Nicole DeMent — a beautiful opportunity to gather in community and honor the changing season together. I am equally excited for Brodie's workshop, Present Sense – Befriending the Now, on June 27, which feels like such a timely invitation to reconnect with presence and deepen our relationship with the moment we are in.
And while it may still be a little way off, I can hardly contain my excitement for Kaila’s Reiki Level 1 class on July 11. As many of you know, Reiki is incredibly near and dear to my heart. In an interesting and beautiful way, Reiki is also part of the reason Asha and I are fortunate enough to serve as stewards of this sacred space. There is something profoundly special about witnessing people step into healing work, curiosity, and deeper connection within themselves.
Above all else, I want to thank each of you for being here — for continuing to show up, not only for yourselves, but for one another. Every conversation, every class, every shared moment contributes to the living, breathing heart of this community. It is such a privilege to witness the ways this space continues to grow and evolve, and I am endlessly grateful to be walking this path alongside all of you.
With love and deep appreciation,
Theo

Present Sense — Befriending the Now
with Brodie Peterson
Saturday, June 27
2-4 pm
$33
Catch your breath, come to your senses, & befriend the moment. When we bring awareness to our present-moment sensations, we become more able to notice & identify “shapes” that are no longer serving us.
This practice of awareness creates conditions for change and opens up the potential to connect to the very heart of life, a wellspring of renewal and possibility.
To do this in community allows us to practice staying with ourselves while connecting with others – and discovering the profound gift of being truly witnessed.
Present Sense is a two-hour workshop designed to support you in:
- Deepening your connection to yourself and to life
- Building greater capacity for authentic listening and relating
- Nourishing the deeper parts of your being, in community!
Drawing on various wisdom traditions, we will connect with our sense of belonging in the web of life, tend to our nervous systems, and cultivate basic skills for inner work – to practice and play in relationship with self and other.
The workshop will involve some light movement, awareness practices, dyads/triads, and group reflection – nothing is compulsory. Bring a journal, water, and whatever you need to be comfortable :)

Resounding Freedom
Saturday, July 18
4-5:30 pm
led by Sarah Lucie
"My voice was never meant to sing other people’s songs.”
Resounding Freedom is for people who are ready to stop performing someone else’s version of life and begin listening to their own. People who know there is more aliveness, more expression, more truth available, and are willing to step into a little discomfort to access it.
These gatherings are guided primarily through sound, but they are not about singing well or sounding a certain way. They are about resonance, permission, and expression. Using your own voice, literally and metaphorically, as a doorway back to yourself.
Together we explore what has been quietly blocking your natural expression. As energy moves, you are invited into active exploration. Making noise. Getting curious. Letting yourself be silly, honest, and real.
This is a space to drop the mask, let your weird out, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have gone quiet.
You will leave feeling clearer, more whole, and more at home in your own voice, ready to create your own path and sing your own song.
Please bring a mat, water, pen, and journal. A blindfold is optional.
